Our mission is to produce best in class products that improve comfort and the enjoyment of any athletic or active lifestyle activity while minimizing our impact to the environment and creating a socially responsible organizational culture that contributes to building a more welcoming, inclusive, and diverse cycling community. We are committed to upholding these values in everything we do, from the design of our products to the way we market them.

Sustainability

Paceline Products, Inc. complies with all applicable environmental laws and regulations.  We continuously seek opportunities within our operations to source and adopt products and services that minimize the impact to the environment.   

Paceline Products, Inc. is committed to environmentally friendly and sustainable operations now and into the future. By reviewing our organizational practices, establishing better processes, constantly refining our facility management initiatives, and evaluating our overall supply chain for opportunities to improve.  

Some of our sustainability initiatives/accomplishments include:

  • Recycled materials used for packaging when available and applicable
  • Solar panels installed on facility
  • Replaced all interior/exterior lighting with LED’s
  • Curbside recyclable packaging for all products
  • Recycle all paper, plastic and metal used for operations
  • Adopted Sustainable Forest Initiatives for corrugated materials
  • Reduce paper usage in our office

We are committed to creating a more diverse and inclusive cycling community, and we actively work to support organizations that promote these values. We believe that by upholding these values, we can create a better outdoor experience for everyone. 

Inclusive Marketing Policies

We believe that everyone should feel comfortable and confident while cycling, regardless of their background or identity, and we strive to promote this message in all our marketing efforts. We are dedicated to using inclusive marketing practices and have committed our marketing efforts to accurately represent the diverse range of individuals who make up our community. To avoid appropriating individuals, we often collaborate with users to share their stories in the first-person or hire individuals to consult on projects. We have developed the following policies regarding the use of inclusive marketing to ensure a wide range of voices who enjoy the outdoors are reflected in our marketing (from race, gender, body size, age, and experience).

Voices and Photography. We are committed to collaborating with photographers and creators of diverse backgrounds to ensure our marketing avoids appropriation and tells first-person stories in the creator’s unique voice. This applies from the creative team behind the scenes and lens to the stories that we help these creators tell.   

Models. We strive to use a diverse range of models in our photography to accurately represent our community. 

Partners and athletes. We are proud to exceed our 50% commitment to supporting BIPOC and native/indigenous athletes and partners across both our paid partner and product-compensated ambassadors.

Product compensation and financial support. We are actively searching to collaborate with community leaders doing good for under-represented communities. This applies to our sample requests, event consideration, financial contributions, and Do More Good Grant Recipients.

Product development and input. When we test new products or develop new product copy, we ensure our testing groups include diverse users within every part of our product development process. This includes initial concepts, formula testing, and marketing development test groups.
