In Memory of Our Co-Worker, Mike Tam.

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our co-worker Mike Tam.  Mike passed away on April 11, 2022 after 10 months of treatment for Leukemia.  Mike stayed the course in his treatment but in the end, it was not enough.

“Mike was a valued member of our team, not because of the work he performed, but more for who he was as a person to all of us. Mike was a friend.  He faced his illness with courage and strength at all times.  We will miss him very much as we each work our way through this loss,” said Curt Shelman, Chamois Butt’r Chief Operating Officer.

Mike managed Paceline Products warehouse (including Chamois Butt’r and distributed brands shipping and receiving).  Most people who know Chamois Butt’r probably didn’t meet or know Mike, but for the last 6 years almost everything that was shipped into or out of our facilities was touched by Mike in some manner.  He was a constant in our office and determined in his work and efforts.  During his time off during his treatment, so many of the delivery and truck drivers asked about him and shared how much they enjoyed working with Mike.

Mike’s time away from the office for treatment left a huge hole in our office and he will be missed by us for a long, long time. He made our workplace and this world a better place.

In Mike’s honor, we hope you take a moment to cherish all and support of your family members – including those at work. Mike's passing reminds us of how important these relationships are.
